JIU-JITSU BLACK BELT
Professor Julio started his Jiu-Jitsu journey in Brazil in 2000. He was born in the city of Curitiba in southern Brazil. At the age of 16 he was inspired to practice the “Gentle Art” after watching Royce Gracie’s dominance in the first UFC telecasts.
He has trained under Gile Ribeiro, Rodrigo Medeiros, Sebastian Lalli and received his black belt from Rodrigo Teixeira.
Its an honor to share the gentle art with Higher Ground Jiu-Jitsu students and help them achieve a better lifestyle on and off the mats.
